Quintessentia is a company borne of passions, a milieu of creative pursuits centred on people, design, communication and wellness.

Our journey started in 2017 with the purchase of a little rustic beach shack in Venus Bay.

It was a return home of sorts, having grown up in the south Gippsland region prior moving city-ward to busy ourselves in Australia’s design and construction community. Christened Tea Tree Hill by the prior custodian, the home gave us the opportunity to finally explore something that had always been close to our hearts, working with small artisan suppliers to create a space of authenticity, comfort and relaxation. It began as a purely personal project – finding amazing makers, working with them to layer what started as a pretty simple space.

The decision to list the property on Airbnb was the pivotal change…. Tea Tree Hill quickly found a following of design and nature lovers keen to escape, and we started to find our passion…. A few homes followed, each with a unique approach to style and a distinct reference to place.

Quintessentia was born as a way to connect directly with our guests and other home owners, beyond the large platform offers; A business where we were able to connect with other property owners, and use our experiences to maximise their property goals, combining our passion and knowledge in the design and property hosting market

Beyond our accommodation offers, we have the services to create listings and manage properties for other owners, assist in styling and design – whether it be your personal home or your own accommodation venture.
